Today I"m gonna tell you some facts about Harshad Santilal Mehta better known BIG BULL. Those who hadn't know about him let me tell you about him. Harshad Mehta was an Indian Stockbroker. Known for his wealth and for having been charged with numerous financial crimes that took place in the Year 1992.

37-year-old Mehta was taking Stock Market to its Peak. He was at the center of the biggest financial scam ever in the country's history. He was convicted of a financial scandal valued at 5000 Crores which took place on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

He was on trial for 9 years, until he died of a heart attack in 2001. 

• Paid Highest Income Tax:

Despite the fact that he was one of the Biggest Scammers of India. In 1992, Harshad Mehta paid the Highest Income Tax in India of  24 crores. If he was alive and never caught he is even richer than Mukesh Ambani.

• Came to Mumbai with only 40 rupees:

Harshad belongs to a very poor family in Raipur, Madhya Pradesh [now Chattisgarh]. When he came to Mumbai in after his schooling For studies and to find work he only has 40 rupees in his pocket and worked a number of odd jobs like Diamond Dealer etc. for the next eight years.

Bribed India's Prime Minister:

Mehta again raised a furor on 16 June 1993 when he made a public announcement that he paid 1 crore to the then Congress president and Prime Minister P.V. NARASIMHA RAO as a donation to the party, for getting him off the scandal case.

• Harshad Mehta's Family After His Death :

Harshad Mehta's Son "Atur Mehta" bought a significant stake in BSE- listed company, Fairdeal Filaments. The Income Tax Department scrapped almost the entire tax demand of  2,014 Crore on late Harshad Mehta, his wife, and brother in the Year 2019. Also in 2019 his wife, "Jyoti" won a case against stockbroker Kishore Janani and Federal Bank who owned 6 Crore to Harshad Mehta since 1992 stating that "Jyoti" won the case and entitled with 18 % Interest on the Amount also and on the other hand his Brother "Aswin Mehta" Completed his Lawyer Degree and Became a Lawyer in Mumbai High Court and also take some cases in Supreme Court and Handled the left cases single-handedly.

If You have Seen THE SCAM-1992 Then you are wondering who was Swami Ji in The Series, It was Chandraswami who became famous because of his close connection with Narasimha Rao. In 1991, Narasimha Rao became the P.M. of India, Chandraswami Built an Ashram in Delhi on the land allocated by Indira Gandhi. This Man "Swami Ji" is a well-buried political secret Of India.
